Fresh from a business trip to Singapore, I recently had the honour of conducting Feng Shui consultations for two residential apartments, a retail space, and an office. These projects were a reminder of the profound impact Feng Shui can haveโnot just in creating harmonious spaces, but in truly transforming lives.

These days, I cherish the peace of my life here in paradise, making such journeys rare. Thanks to virtual conferencing, most clients now enjoy the convenience of engaging with me remotely. However, for those who value an in-person experience, some are willing to cover travel plus expenses to bring that personal touch into their space.

Working with these heart-centered clients was especially rewarding. Recently, they discovered a distant relative in Sarawak who attributed their financial success to Feng Shuiโa tradition honoured in their family by my father and now myself. Inspired by this connection, they reached out to me.
Starting with the clientโs family homeโan apartment in an established, premium development built in 1997โthis space sits amidst beautifully designed grounds. The thoughtful layout of pools, fountains, walkways, and drainage all harmonize with natural Feng Shui principles. While these elements may seem subtle to the untrained eye, they channel powerful Feng Shui energies, helping the property maintain its value and popularity, even as newer, flashier complexes spring up around it.
In Feng Shui, itโs essential to assess the external environment first to understand the energies at play. This involves a careful application of various Feng Shui schools and systems to uncover the deeper layers of influence surrounding the property and how they shape the energy within each individual apartment.

While the exterior of the residential complex provided a strong Feng Shui foundation, a deeper assessment of the apartmentโs internal layout revealed it wasnโt aligned with the new Feng Shui cycle that began this year. Although prosperous in its original cycle and the one after, they were not able to design the apartment to extend into the third twenty year energy cyle. The prosperous energy blueprint for my clientโs apartment had already begun to wane from their purchase and move-in back in 2017.

After evaluating the apartmentโs Feng Shui energy blueprint and aligning it with my clients’ unique personal Feng Shui Archetypes, I recommended adjustments to their use of the space, allowing their personal energy to harmonize fully with the environment.
However, my evaluation also indicated theyโd benefit greatly from relocating to a new space better aligned to support them in this new 20-year cycle. Though I rarely suggest relocationโfewer than 5% of casesโa brighter future awaited them in a home where the physical space would no longer limit their potential and prosperity could flourish.
