REFLECTIONS AND RESPITE: EMBRACING TRANQUILITY AT DITIANTAI
This week has been one of contemplation. Facing my second respiratory infection this yearβquite unusual for me, the previous were long before the pandemicβhas compelled me to slow down.
In my commitment to uphold and continue my fatherβs legacy in Traditional Feng Shui, I realize that remaining the Best Known Secret will not suffice. So, over the past year, I have ventured into the realm of social media, a space I previously chose to avoid.
To truly honour my social media presence, it is essential to consistently share the essence of who I am and the true principles of Traditional Feng Shui. This endeavour requires not only regular online engagement but also the heartfelt expression of gratitude to those who have supported me. Diligently responding to messages and comments, I strive to create meaningful connections and convey the depth of my work.
However, my erratic social media time has been detrimental to my attention span and focus, so much so that I am feeling that I have a mind of a gnat! To prevent my mind from becoming mush, I decided to take a respite from social media for a couple of weeks.
Beginning my days with martial arts practice in my outdoor gym, tending to my garden, and immersing myself in catching up with my Feng Shui consultation projects, has provided a much-needed reprieve. Focusing on my consultations has been a welcome return to normality for my mind, restoring its natural state of focused clarity and purpose.
And of course, the continued solace and inspiration found in the ever-changing landscape of Ditiantai, the Harmonious Place where Heaven and Earth Unite, has greatly aided this process.
As I share with you the shifting hues of dusk from my office, I am constantly reminded of the beauty and tranquility that surround me, offering moments of peace and reflection that greatly assist my return to my normality.
I look forward to returning with more interesting and engaging posts, while embracing new habits that enhance the focus and clarity my mind thrives on.
