LESSONS IN YIN AND YANG – The Yin Moon

In Dao’s embrace, the moon embodies yin,

Its tranquil light a balance to begin,

With yin’s soft grace, it waxes and it wanes,

In harmony with yang, the universe maintains.

In yin’s embrace, the moon serenely receives,

The yang sun’s light, in tranquil reprieve,

A vessel of stillness, it mirrors the day’s fire,

In receptive silence, yin’s essence inspires.

With gentle allure, it guides the tides’ flow,

An ocean’s heartbeat, in rhythmic echo,

In shadowed hues, it finds its divine art,

In yin’s quiet wisdom, lies the universe’s heart.
