This week I decided on my social media salutation. The 
Rainbow to represent my Vision and the Wisdom Legacy my father left me. The 
Purple Heart represents the Spiritual awareness, Love and Compassion of my culture.
Funny thing though is how easily misunderstandings arise in this fascinating and rich cultural diverse world we live in.
A Facebook member politely asked me
โI have seen LGBTQ colours (referring to the rainbow) on one of your profile. Iโm just curious, what keeps you feel pride, motivated or inspired among them. I donโt intent to offend you or anybodyโฆ.โ
I assured him my rainbow does not represent LGBTQ for me neither is it intended for my audience. My rainbow emoji as emoji itself states โhappiness, feelings of togetherness, hope, and good fortuneโ is as per the start of this post. As an aside, Emoji has a rainbow flag to express LGBTQ identity and pride.
The English expression โlive and let liveโ articulates my sentiment on the myriad differences that colors our world
. I accept peopleโs choice and do not embrace or condone the decisions they make. My hope is that no one is hurt physically, mentally or emotionally, consciously or unconsciously, by whatever decisions, believes, convictions, paradigms, etc. people make
