I SEE RAINBOWS…🌈🌈🌈

As I returned home, weary from my journey and battling a cold and just about to enter my home, I was greeted by a brilliant rainbow, its vibrant colours landing right before me.

Instantly my thoughts turned to my father, whose connection to rainbows has held profound significance since a poignant day in August 2020. Here he is, welcoming me home, this beacon of warmth and comfort

As I marvelled at the ethereal beauty, I reflect on the profound parallels between this celestial display and my father’s life journey.

Like the rainbow body of Buddhist tradition, his life embodied a remarkable blend of wisdom, compassion, and spiritual depth. His unwavering dedication to guiding others and alleviating suffering throughout his life mirrors the essence of a bodhisattva, a role he has adopted with humility and grace. Among elders of diverse faiths, he is acknowledged and well respected.

This vibrant luminescence of presence is a constant reminder for me of the interconnectedness of all things. In the rainbow, I see not just a natural wonder, but a symbol of the enduring love and guidance my father continue to offer transcending time and space. Rainbows greet me wherever I go, where ever I am, speaking to me, guiding me, reminding me, welcoming home with its vibrant hues of the promise of love, reassurance and support.

Wherever my path leads, rainbows emerge, whispering, guiding, reminding, admonishing, welcoming—a steadfast beacon of love, reassurance, and unwavering support, hinting at a promise of great things yet to come…
