THE POWER OF NUMBERS: THE FENG SHUI SECRET OF PROPERTY NUMBERS AND ENGERY FLOW

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗡𝗨𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝗶 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄

It’s always inspiring to watch a vision come to life—especially when it’s about building dream homes from the ground up. Recently, I consulted for two sisters creating their unique, Feng Shui-aligned residences on a shared property. Each space is designed to flow naturally, harmonizing with the Dao. This video captures the latest exciting progress of their build.

In creating their “perfect Feng Shui house,” it is crucial to apply Traditional Feng Shui principles from the earliest stages—the concept design stage. Perfection in this context does not imply a fixed ideal; rather, it signifies the comprehensive integration of their energies with both their space (the external surroundings and internal design layout) and time (the shifting energies of time). By applying Traditional Feng Shui principles from the earliest stages, we can cultivate homes imbued with profound depth and vitality that harmonize with their inhabitants—what I refer to as “the perfect Feng Shui house.”

Recently, the sisters requested my assistance in crafting a formal request to the Council for distinct property numbers that reflect the unique Feng Shui energy of each home.

𝗗𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 ‘𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸’ 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲?

Yes, house numbers do make a difference, though not necessarily in the way people might think. We’re all familiar with 4 and 13 as “unlucky” numbers—4 is associated with death in Chinese culture due to its phonetic similarity, while 13 is seen as ominous in Western culture due to various historical and religious associations.

Feng Shui examines number energies in a way that transcends simplistic cultural connotations. We assess these numbers at a much deeper level using our own scientific language based on the Dao.  Therefore, the answer is a definitive yes: certain numerical configurations carry distinct energies that can influence outcomes. This numerology falls under a different discipline of Dao wisdom practices than Feng Shui. However, it’s important to note that this does not apply to the specific case at hand.

In this instance, the concern isn’t with the actual house number 4 itself but rather about maintaining the integrity of their subdivision and choosing between formats like 1/4 and 2/4, or 4 and 4A, or 4A and 4B. Each option carries subtle but unique meanings that can subliminally influence perceptions and, consequently, the lives lived within those spaces. Refer to my attached letter to the Council for the rationale behind my Feng Shui advice.

Additionally, my advice on the numbering system acknowledges the Feng Shui principle of collective perception. When society assigns a particular meaning to something, that meaning holds subconscious weight and influences the energy of a space. My final choice for preferred numbers ensures that each property is recognized as a unique entity, with neither overshadowing the other.
