𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.

I am Master Boon, a Traditional Feng Shui Master and the authentic lineage holder of the late Grandmaster Yap Cheng Hai—who was also my father.

Though I was raised steeped in Daoist traditions—learning martial arts from the age of four and absorbing the principles of Feng Shui in my teens—my early professional life followed a very different path.

I became a career scientist and international business strategist in the biomedical world. I thrived on challenge, sought constant growth, travelled widely, and worked at the frontiers of innovation.

And yet, Feng Shui was never far.

It lived in me—quietly shaping the spaces I created, the decisions I made, the way I moved through the world.

𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀

Eventually, after decades in the corporate world, the thrill began to wane. I felt a deep inner call—an echo from the past that refused to be silenced.

So I returned to my roots.

I asked my father to formally teach me the art he had carried so impeccably. What began as study soon became practice—first assisting him in his consultations and teachings, then quietly answering calls from those seeking real, authentic Feng Shui guidance.

The work grew naturally. Word spread.

Clients came—many through beautiful synchronicities.

Over the past 30+ years, I’ve helped individuals, families, and organisations with everything from site selection and new builds to property alignment and spatial transformation—guiding them to shape environments of harmony, vitality, and prosperity.

For two decades, I did this quietly, while still consulting in the biomedical sector.

But eventually, the call of Feng Shui outshone all else.

Because the outcomes I witnessed were phenomenal.

Time and again, I saw the theory brought to life.

And so, stepping away from corporate life and fully into the esoteric world felt… inevitable.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁

Although my Feng Shui life was a quiet one, clients always seemed to find me.

I often jest that I am the Master they deserve—just as we all, in our own time, find the teacher we are ready for.

Many have called me “the best kept secret”—returning two or even three decades later, never having forgotten the transformations they experienced.

I was content in this rhythm.

The work was real. The pace was right.

And yet, something was still unfinished.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗜 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗳

I’d always held a dream: to create a home that served as a living case study—built entirely in alignment with Feng Shui’s most sacred principles.

I found the land in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

But then came a sailing adventure in New Zealand—my first with the man who would become my husband.

There, I saw it: “the land where dragons play.”

Aotearoa called, and we answered.

We built the sanctuary I had long envisioned.

I thought that would be my final chapter:

a life of flow, of sailing into sunsets, of cultivating stillness and quietude on DiTianTai—

The Prosperous Place where Earth and Heaven Unite.

But destiny had other plans.

𝗔 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘄, 𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱

Nine years after my father’s passing, his spirit returned—

as a five-hour rainbow, following our sail across the bay.

It arched across the sky like a vow remembered.

A gentle, unmistakable reminder of the promise I had made to him on his last breath:

To carry forward his life’s work.

To preserve, protect, and pass on the authentic lineage of Traditional Chinese Feng Shui.

And to do so with the same integrity, precision, and heart with which it had been entrusted to me.

And so, I stepped forward.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗔𝗺 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲

Not to trend, but to teach.

Not to decorate, but to dignify.

Not to simply apply, but to lead those ready—back to the true path.

Because Traditional Feng Shui is not superstition.

It is not guesswork or aesthetic decoration.

And it is most certainly not pop spirituality.

It is a profound science of energy, rooted in the Dao, refined over millennia—designed to dissolve hidden blocks, restore natural flow, and attune one’s life to its highest rhythm.

𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗜 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲—𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂

The teachings must live on.

The wisdom must be passed forward.

And those called to this path must be shown the way.

What passes for “Feng Shui” in much of the world today is but a pale shadow of its true essence.

Traditional Chinese Feng Shui (TCFS) is not superstition, decoration, or guesswork—it is a lineage-based science of energy rooted in the Dao, refined over millennia, and designed to remove hidden obstacles, restore natural flow, and catalyze the transformation of your health, wealth, relationships, to the life you are meant to create.

This is why I speak.

This is why I write.

This is why I teach.

Not to follow trends—but to restore dignity to the discipline, to guide the sincere seeker, and to uphold the trust of the Master-Student lineage I was born into.
